I just saw this post in MyTT.net, and frankly, I was amazed.

Stiga V1:

and look at this particular blade:

Avalox C555 Ma Wenge:

Oh my. What a small world.

I was like, what's going on here?

I think Wang Liqin used this blade in a recent double game if I'm not mistaken...

I'm playing with it at the moment. It's fast, very hard, and flexy.

As Hurricane King in speed and flex, but much harder.

As Tremendous in flex and hardness, but slower (still pretty fast though).

As Spirit in hardness and speed, but flexy.

The feeling is great and pretty unique, i loved the Tremendous for similar feel but couldn't control it.

Sorry for the grave dig.

This blade (Stiga V1 carbon) is still available here in the Philippines and judging by the review http://mytabletennis.net/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=28533 it is an excellent blade. The above thread wasn't updated so I have no way of knowing if the Stiga V1 is still used by forum members as of today.

I'm a looper and I play aggressively, counterattacking instead of passively blocking and have been playing TT for 2 years, but only getting serious 6 or so months ago. I use DHS PG7, Avalox BT550, Donic ultra senso carbon, H3neo, H3, KLT Rapid Speed and has been improving lately. The BT550 is my model blade but it's slow. I got sold by the way nicefrog gushed over the blade (v1) but before I buy it, may I seek advice from forum members who is using or have used the blade.

PS. Or is it more "proper" to get the Dawei Wavestone or Maxim(whichever is suitable for my looping style play).

Thank you.
