I've watched quite a few Joo videos in the last few months or so and I find the matchup between Ma Long and Joo most enjoyable to watch. Ma Long used to have issues with Joo a few years back, but now they're both capable of beating each other. Ma Long is a great TT player to watch and to observe how he handles the spin variation game, while Joo demonstrates his defensive capabilities. I think there's a 4 or 5 part series of videos based on 2009 matches on youtube. Great skills by both players.

Here's Joo in a close match against Mizutani in the 2009 Korean Open:

Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3u6O6M78hs
Part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iULMKPgxGg
Part 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEksvoKMi60
Part 5: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIVPZoBth5E
Part 6: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuK9WIT2v8s
Part 7: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pv06xrgvOvI

This recording doesn't have the bad camera angles/lighting issues that the "official" version has that was on the ittf website.

One interesting thing to note is you can see Chen Weixing observing the match in the background :)

I love this angle as I could judge the distance between the table and the players better! Thanks for the heads-up!

I agree. Good camera angle. I always thought Joo plays from much further back from all those other camera angles.

Cheers.

I have the ITTF magazine. This time, there is an interview to Joo Se Hyuk. He is a bit bored answering, only small answers. In the personal profile, his racket is: Joo Se Hyuk Butterfly blade, Tenergy 64 (in this profile is said he uses TEnergy 05), and TSP Curl on backhand.

Greetings

Joo Se Hyuk is doing really bad against Ma Long lately. Ma Long seems to be able manipulate Joo easily these days, as the video below show. Kudos to Ma Long for being able to play like that. Joo v Ma match is always interesting to watch.

Joo is still effective against Christian Suss though:

Older match against Kong Linghui.

A great match with some freakishly good points :D It even beats the match against Wang Liqin in Qatar Open ( in the first post of this thread) for entertainment and quality. I didn't think that was possible, but there you go; a lovely surprise and five sets of sheer table tennis bliss :)

I would love to have this one in better quality to burn to a DVD.
