If anyone else likes playing their backhand as much as I do, then this guy is an inspiration. I know all the experts say he has an extreme technique and it should not be copied but there is no doubting his intent when he unleashes it. Mind you his FH is not bad either

I think this compilation is from the 2006 World Cup where he came up and beat some big name players.

http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=nv-j8fjfVF8&feature=channel_page do not forget to hit high quality on the clips, it seems to make a big diference.

Hi Mars, Kreanga really cranks it up on all his shots. Here's a recent Kreanga game against Joo from an unusual angle...

thanks MNNB,
I have seen this match before but its amazing how it looks different from this angle, you get more of a feeling of being there yourself.
I really like to watch these guys go at it hammer and thongs, they have struck up a bit of a rivalry over recent years especially in big events.

BTW, I notice that you have found vids on a couple of different non english sites, do you speak a couple of languages or just have good search skills?

thanks again.

Kreanga's bh is fun to watch and as you say, there really is no doubt about his intentions with it. I still wouldn't pick to have his bh if I could pick, cause I think he makes to big movement to be truly effective with it. But if I could have that bh on my level, I guess I could make do with the big movement :D

I can not argue about the big movements speedplay, but he does actually explain in some detail in his training vid about the different types of BH strokes he plays depending on how much time he has to get his feet and shoulder into the optimum position.

I'm not sure whether this is true or not, probably an urban myth :) but I heard he trained as a gymnast when he was young? this might explain the exaggerated movements but whatever its fun to watch.

Nice clip mars! He really has amazing blocking ability... and os effortless!

Wow that camera is a long way up MNNB... not sure if there's much benefit from such a high angle... a little zoom lens would have done the trick I think... not a bad match though!

Mors that first clip was very reminiscent of our play last night I believe, don't you think? I mean there was just as much belting going on. Perhaps the only thing these guys missed was the heat we had to endure!!

Kreanga's BH might be just a tad more consistent than mine, but I think his opponents wouldn't have coped with my C7 sliders!!

Seems Ma Lins serves might have been a little easier to return than yours as well! :P
