I took some videos from the 2008 Killerspin event in Chicago. Find them at http://ttarmory.com/tt_video

Do not try to stream from there. Just right click and save them to your computer. Videos are 720P, 60fps and should open in QuickTime, though older CPUs might stutter due to the quality.

Uploaded clips are:
Mark Hazinski, US rating 2570 vs. Zhang Yining, Women's WR 1 (full match)
Chen Weixing vs. Lei Zhenhua, approx WR 50 and Chinese national practice player (one game)
Chen Weixing vs. Samsonov (full match, sorry for the camera angle and commentary :D)

For Zhang Yining vs. Blasczcyk I must have inadvertently changed a camera setting so the quality is not as good as the rest. It is now uploaded here as well. WATCH THIS MATCH!

My crappy aus broadband is topping out at 200kb/s per file. At least I can do all 3 at the same time @ 200 each :D

Thanks

I down loaded the videos with Orbit, but Gom Player has encountered problems while playing all three of them. Now I don't know what to do. Really want to watch.

if you've got the file on your pc, download a player called VLC media player.

Thanks Alex and Silver, I had QuickTime in my computer but it had problems playing the file. Now, I am down loading VLC media player and see what happens, my computer is giving me so much troubles lately. :(

Chen/Li is the most interesting, too bad there isn't more of that one. Anyway, great quality, angle, good stuff..

slade, i am sorry i didnt get the rest of the chen/lei match. chen lost in 4 (maybe he didnt want to play zhang!). my batteries ran out, and the nearest outlet wasn't at an angle conducive to filming. next time i will be armed with a spare battery!

speedplay, i assume you are talking about the key point in the final game where chen was ready to bh kill the ball but totally whiffed! it appeared to me watching it live that the ball took a funny, skidding bounce on the table, certainly not what chen expected. on video, it doesnt look too odd, but live it appeared as a bad bounce. those killerspin tables (dhs rebranded) have really SLICK tops!

Thank you mdjenders for the videos, they are of highest quality. However, for some reason, I can't put the video reply in normal mode, otherwise the screen and pictures jumps and can't see the balls. I can hera the background voices clearly though.

Good thing is I can see the video in slow motion thanks to Silver's suggestion of VLC media player.

Manged to watch all three matches, it was amazing to watch Zhang coming back and won the first game after she was behind 5-10. Her game is simply but accurate placement, good to know.

Those Killerspin tables do seem to have a lot of skid on them. The club that mdjenders and I play at on Fridays has some Killerspin tables, and we try to avoid them as much as possible just because the bounce doesn't seem to be terribly consistent all the time. Even at the tourney, they had brand-new tables and the ball just didn't seem to bounce very high or consistently. Of course, it could just be me, I'm by no means an expert.

plus, take a look at the pitch of the table on the low angle videos. the table is clearly not level, kind of a ^ shape !
