That is exactly what I thought! I got some tips from watching his footwork: Keep your weight on the balls of your feet and just rotate your heels around the balls of your feet.

Unfortunately, that leads to the hips dropping on backswing and rising on the swing (which he also does), which I have been told is bad joo joo. Not sure what to do there...
