There's a video of some young guy (sorry, don't know our players very well) taking a set off William.

It's great to see William over here playing. It's not like we easily attract many WR >200 players. (Somehow the Simpson Desert Pro Tour event just doesn't seem to attract them!)

Henzell is just a fantastic player...! He came to the TT club in Cobromata and gave some kids there a 1 hour lesson

Thanks guys, I don't make a fortune from the Australian Open videos (it's a small market), but enough to make it worth lugging the video camera all over Australia. Plus it's nice to have some Aussies playing table tennis up in YouTube too! Funnily enough, my best selling DVDs are the Mark Smith Coaching DVDs, which I only put up on the site for sale as an afterthought!

I think the best highlight video so far from the 2007 Aus Open is the Kyle Davis vs Robbie Frank video - there were lots of good rallies so it was a piece of cake finding a few to put into the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zv6Tx8R2uWo

They were shot when Mark was doing 2 coaching seminars in Perth. You can check out samples at http://www.gregsttpages.com/videos/marksmithcoachingvideos.html

Basically, Mark was doing the seminars for around 10 of us coaches, and I followed him around with the video camera. So it's footage of him coaching us from his normal seminars, not a special preplanned DVD production.

I'd like to order a set of 3 DVD's of the best sets, taken from games with defenders. (ie Greg, Paul, Craig Campbell, + any other players to show style variety.)

I've got about 6 hours 30 min footage of defenders (I'll post the full list below - I'm not including Brian Berry as such, or else it would probably be 8hrs). I can fit around 1hr 15 min per DVD, so you guys could pick and choose which footage you want. If I got say 3 orders per DVD, I'd be willing to do it for $15 per DVD instead of $20 (the extra $5 is because usually a custom DVD is a one off that I'll never sell to anybody else, where as my premade DVDs I just have to run off a copy).

Yep, got a 250GB hard drive, but I keep DVD backups of the wmv files for each year (2004-2007) offline, and just keep the current year on the hard disk. Still takes up a bit of space though!

Anyway, I enjoy sharing the snippets, and I don't think any of the players mind - at least no one has come up and asked me to stop posting vids of them on the net. I've also supplied DVDs to several of the top Aussie players who want copies of their matches, so I guess I'm providing a service for them as well.
