I was just watching the first game of Paul Zhao vs Stewart McDonald at http://www.youtube.com/v/rtjNXlQSWZg

I reckon Zhao serves illegally - it looks very much like the point of contact is hidden in many of his serves.

Yeah, I wondered about that. The opponent didn't seem too fazed - the umpire couldn't see point of contact though - isn't that meant to be visible?

Yes, but it's really meant to be visible to the other player. The umpire doesn't matter so much. That being said, it's if the umpire *thinks* that the other player can't see it.

I thought those serves looked suspect,some of them seem to not go 6 inches high plus a little hidden in the palm.
The guy Stewart McDonald needs some help in his short game
